International Women Build Week, sponsored by Lowe’s, provides the tools for women to empower and educate themselves on skills used when repairing and restoring homes. In a typical year, Women Build is marked by an event that brings volunteers together to build, learn and empower each other as they work alongside future Habitat homeowners. Last year’s event saw more than 65 women volunteer together over two days in Taylor, TX. Due to precautions for Covid, Habitat is not hosting in-person volunteer events for this year’s Women Build celebration.
